How we work
Seven days from sign-up to live site.
Most agencies will quote you 6 to 12 weeks. We do this in a week. Same custom design quality, same local SEO, same care. Just no 12-person team passing your project around in Slack for two months. Here is the actual day-by-day.
Day 0
You sign up
You pick a plan and pay the $500 setup. Stripe link, takes 60 seconds on a phone. The $20 a month does not start until your site is live and you have signed off on it.
Why $500 upfront: it covers the design and build work. The work starts that night.
Day 1
Brief
I send you a 3-question intake form. Takes you 5 minutes. What does your business do, what is the personality, what do you want customers to do when they land on your site. That is the whole brief.
Most agencies make this a 60-page strategy doc. You do not need that. I need just enough to start.
Day 2-3
Design
I sketch out the homepage and 2-3 sub-pages. Wire it up in code (not Figma) so you can see real type, real spacing, real interactions. I send you a private preview link by end of day 3.
No 4-round design review process. The first preview is intentionally rough so we can iterate fast, not polish the wrong thing.
Day 4
Review
You open the link on your phone, send me a voice memo or 3 bullet points on what you want changed. I edit live. Usually 2-3 rounds of changes happen on the same day.
You do not need to schedule a meeting. Text your changes, they are live in 2 hours.
Day 5
Content polish
All your photos in. All copy proofread. Mobile + tablet + desktop all checked. Load speed tested. Forms tested. Google Business Profile updated if needed.
This is the day most agencies skip. It is the most important day.
Day 6
Domain + launch
If you have a domain, we point it. If you do not, I help you pick one and register it (cost goes through you, around $15 a year). Site goes live on your actual URL.
Domain DNS can take a few hours to propagate, sometimes up to 24. Plan accordingly.
Day 7
You are live
Your site is up. I send you a quick how-to-edit note for the simple stuff (hours, prices, holiday notices). The monthly subscription kicks in. We are off.
I check in at day 14 and day 30 to make sure everything is still working. After that, text me whenever.
What you can count on
Four things that are not in the contract but matter more.
I answer the phone
Not a support inbox. Not a junior account manager. Me. Same number on your invoice, in your contract, on the site.
I show up on schedule
If the day says preview goes out, the preview goes out. If something is going to slip, you hear from me before the deadline, not after.
Edits are not change orders
Need to add a service, change a price, swap a photo? Text me, it is live by end of week. Not a $150 invoice for a 30-minute change.
If it breaks, that is my problem
Hosting hiccup, broken form, slow load on a Wednesday morning? You text me, I fix it. The site staying up is my job, not yours.
Ready when you are.
Pick a plan plus send the brief. Your site is live by next Monday. That is the entire process.
